I can see the two pictures come from a different source, of course. I thought the blending was very beautifully done. So the red tape is a cross that is not fully realized? OK. I saw it rather as a partition, a very thick wall between two territories or two worlds.

Not sure what you mean. In the lower part, the partition is a piece of red tape. It forms a cross that isn't fully realized. The upper part is two pics collaged together: A section from an obscure French academic painting and then a generic shot of a train platform. They weren't originally together.

Nice atmosphere with that choice of pictures, especially the train station. I'm intrigued by that sharp partition in the middle.

CB arrived at an intersection so full of trash it is impossible to even cross the road. AND it smells bad.

I think I'm starting to see. In Alsace #1. Cherry Blossom is the girl in bed propped up with a chair. In this, she is the maiden departing on a journey that is guided by a confusion of maps and schedules.
