Thanks! Yeah, I had headphones on full blast, singin along, the whole time I was making it, even doing a little dance while I spraypainted it...I wonder if that qualifies as performance art?

i was going to say, i bet you used a cd for that!

i love the texture in the colours though!

Thank you, it's a simple process really; Crayon over the watercolor paper, followed by watercolors, lay a cd down over the paper, and finish by misting it with green spraypaint. It was inspired by the 311 song "Hey You" in which the singer chronicles his lifelong friendship with music, hence the use of a cd as a stencil.
