Thanks for my FIRST piece of mail art! A perfect surprise at the end of a stressful day. I'll reciprocate soon....

  • Claire (aka Cleo)

Dear, dear Mim - I received your marvelous card today -and it's the one I adored & raved about! Thank you so very much, I can't tell you how happy it's made me... And, from what you wrote, it is further enhanced by the significant/personal meaning & history of those pieces for you... (Ah, the specific/personal meaning of certain elements contained within a piece... However "covert" the meaning(s) may be to the outside observer, I believe they can infuse the piece with an untoward force. Such things are magical to me...)(Yea, I'm a romantic when it comes to art/objects...%_^) Aaanyway, thanks again Mim, I truly appreciate it! Best, C

Hellooooooooooooo there. Have you been wondering about me? LOL. I am one of those older people who are afraid of the computer. Yup, that be me. I stumbled on uR site and was just "handY' enough to get approved and then split with fear. Done that a few times. But in the mean time I've been doing tons of mailArting with no one to send to. I guess its time to figure this site out. Well, Im starting to stress now, time to go and make a go of it. Just like MaryTylerMoore once threw her beret up in the air song...."Youre gonna make it after all". Oh, I just loved her. If I can stumble across uR address again Mim I'll blast off a piece of mail Monday. Until then if you see me floating in space with a helpless look on my face grab me , wont ya? MailLove, KiT

  • Petrolpetal

    Hi there

Something is in the mail for you.Hope you like it.

  • Kathy Maguire

And to all the other mail lovers out there....I just finished a piece called "Letting Go"....its a upcycled, collage, wayyyyyyy unique, postCard, with a VERY unusual twist. I would be very happy to share my ArT with you. If you would like one please send me your address and I'll blast one off to ya.....in a decorated envie, hmmmmm. This postCard is not for anyone who is allergic to pet dander. I have no shame ...I'll do anything for ArT. LOL. At least Im not asking for money. LMAO.  I just want a decorated envie and all uR passWords. Im TEASING. Wouldnt know what to do with "em" anyway. In the meantime I will learn how to use this site. I am Kathy Maguire 3289 Yana Ct, Copperopolis, Ca 95228 . My email is Kittyart777@yahoo.com. Please no one beat me up either. I just came from another mailart site I was learning and my profile said not much more than this and 2 of the users lynched me. I guess as an artist I shouldnt live out loud. Sigh. Happy Mail Love to all, KiT

Ha ha ha! So glad you liked it - there was a lot of "Thank you" energy in it! %_^ You're welcome, of course!

btw, you should think of making your pictures a bit larger...size isn't the issue it used to be w/ pics on the web. And the eyesight of many of us ole' folks of course..(sigh...) Well, besides the fact that I like to see/note details... %_^

Keep up the great work mon amie!

    Hi there

Thanks for the 'floaty' mail art! It made me ask myself whether I ever imagine myself floating. I don't think I do - certainly at the moment I feel 'heavy' - in a good way. Like rooted.

Something is on its way back to you!
