Great envelope from Norma Soulet. I love the IUOMA artistamp, and Dutch PostNL thought it a good idea to add a code on a sticker to the addressee.

Hello David Stafford,   nothing like a 1 cent cigarette when you are sipping a Woodbury Facial Cocktail.  If only I could market myself so well....the secrets to success are always jotted on the back of one envelope or another.

Used multiple stamps on a page from a Frida Kahlo art book to make this envelope which holds a work for Reinhart's Against War projeckt.

Here is something that might be of interest to this group.  It arrived a couple of weeks ago and I know nothing more than what you see; nor do I need to.  Whether it is an on-going project or just an anomaly I don't really care; I have done one and sent it back and it would be nice if everyone else did too.  It is the sort of meaningless nonsense that mail art used to thrive on and as such means everything.  Let the mail infest Mr J F's welcome mat as thickly as the fungi depicted on them . . .

in response 2 mary anne’s september 16 th comment 2 send J F Chapelle an empty ‘lope-- i’m just now realizing i misread it & went a bit overboard w/the mushrooms, as it only calls 4 sending an empty ‘lope using mushroom stamps!! 

Samantha, you must know that you can never have too many mushrooms . . .

ha! agreed. even so, it was a call 2 use mushroom stamps, plural-- & i only used 1! so yet again i missed the mark. none the less, i sure hope he's delighted...

I love it when a collaboration happens spontaneously. I recently received an envelope which I had sent to CRACKERJACK. He had added to it and sent it back to me with some more mail art. What a wonderful surprise.
