    Joel Cohen Sticker Dude Sez...

I'm getting ready to make the IOUMA Rubber Stamp again...so far I've gotten about 6 requests. I'm pretty sure that I'm only going to do one run of them, so when they're out that's it. I think that everyone, so far, wants the fully finished mounted ones with wooden handle ($8, postpaid anywhere in the... Mailart Universe). Anyway, if it's not too much trouble put out another announcement again in your blogs and lists, etc., and beseech them to act soon.
Nice Buzz Blurr portrait here on your Facebook page!

Still want one IUOMA rubberstamp: please sent an e-mail directly to Joel to let him know: inbox@raggededgepress.com

Ruud, Thanks for the snail mail! Also, what does the rubber stamp for IUOMA look like? Is there a link to an image which I could add to my blog?
  • ginny lloyd

My www.ginnylloyd.blogspot.com has had a major update. Some interesting press articles about rubberstamps and mail art were added.

I went to Japanese stationary store lately. There are more cute rubber stamps, ink, handmade paper design stuff that I can use for mail art, and collage, etc. I bought some stamps there, and I will take these photos and post here later...

Gift from Hans Ruedi Fricker back in 1985. He started the action " Damned to be a Tourist" and made this special variation for the TAM Rubberstamp Archive with title " Tamned to be a Tourist". It has been in the archive since 1985. Because all donated rubber is used as well, it stays in good condition as you can see.
  • Michael Leigh

    Nice one!
  • Sztuka Fabryka

Hello Dawn, no any rubberstamp from you there. That is because these are stamps only we have made.
    Greetings,

Here there are what I was just making and submitted to my online school and I will also send to Ryosuke Cohen.

It is kind of illustration like, but I got the motif from the Japanese shrine fox.

  • Kathy De Wit

Finally made my own mail-art stamp...and hoping to spread him to all of you very soon! :)

  • Jen Staggs

ooooh! very cool color dynamic! Did you hand paint the rubber to get the two tones?
  • Michael Leigh

Enjoying all the stamps submitted recently - lovely work!

Cool stuff Tomoe! Loved seeing the original shrine you took the idea of the fox from, also. I thought kitsune was fox so is ainari another way to say fox or something else entirely? Just curious... I am just sounding out the hiragana as best I can. ;)

Kathy - your gato mail art stamp is awesome!

Love seeing drawers full of stamps, Ruud. :D

    do linocut stamps count?

    I hate carving rubber...

  • Jen Staggs

Great skull!  I should say linocuts count, are they easier to carve little details?  That's what I'm having problems with using that pink speedball rubber.
  • Poison Label Productions

i cut this using a scroll saw & a dental pick...

Although any coping saw or even x-acto knife would work - I just like to get it done quick...

and you can't beat the price of the material!!
