Zombie Kitty Kawaii! wants to travel the World and needs your help! This project is part "Flat Stanly", part "Add and Pass" and part "Roaming Gnome". Let me explain:
1) Zombie Kitty Kawaii! will arrive on your doorstep needing a place to stay. Of course, you will have to entertain her; take her to a favorite cafe, a famous landmark or any place of your choosing (shopping, perhaps?). Photograph yourself with Zombie Kitty Kawaii! (camera phone is fine) and email to zombiekittykawaii@gmail.com or post it here, telling me what you guys did while she was visiting.
2) Stamp her Passport (or draw something or write something.).
3)Send her on her merry way to another address.
4) When her "Passport" is full or expired, send her home to me.
All photos emailed and Zombie Kitty Kawaii! News will be posted on The Zombie Kitty Kawaii! Travels The World Blog.
If you happen to send out a postcard on Zombie Kitty Kawaii!'s behalf, I will post something nice back to you for helping her. You can send your postcards to:

I hope ZKK didn't leave her calling card in any of those sand boxes. Mini would have, for sure!
I miss Mini Zombie Kitty...I hope she's having fun on her flight to Brazil!!
Sorry, it looks like the canary photo had flown the coop.
So I guess a visit to the Canary Islands would not be complete without seeing a canary, and Zombie Kat has his eye on this one! But actually, the name Islas Canarias is likely derived from the Latin name Insula Canaria, meaning "Island of the Dogs". (Sounds less romantic than a bird.)
Last day on the Canary Islands, and the trip would not be complete unless we visited the World famous 'idol of Tara".
(Don't worry I had never heard of them either, and I think World Famous means this island only.) It's a bit like the World Series of American baseball where they never invite any other country to play.

WOW, maybe an Island of Dogs is not the place for a Kat to be?!!
But don't worry, one speculation is that the so-called dogs were actually a species of Monk Seals (canis marinus or "sea dog" was a Latin term for 'seal'), now critically endangered and no longer present in the Canary Islands.
So after one full week, Zombie Kat got dressed up to have a new passport photo taken, and applied to be a citizen of the Canary Islands... but the application was refused, they found out that the Kat was made of paper, and there would be just too much paper work! So back to France we go.
I can't stand it - ZK is is having SO much fun and seeing things that I'll never see in person! WOW!
Also in the Spanish town of La Otorava, Tenerife, the festival of Corpus Christi Festival with beautiful themed carpets made from flower petals and colored volcanic sand.
Do Zombie Kats and birds mix?
Several days before the celebration, local families and even design companies draw the carpets on paper, and on the big day, men and children draw the outline on the streets, while women fill the designs with various flower petals. All the locals get involved in this beautiful celebration and create a truly pleasant atmosphere.
However it does leaves some of the locals a bit stiff in the morning, and I think that bird better watch out!
Zombie Kat with all the boxes of the different colors of sand ... at least paint brushes are not required!
And now for your Sunday morning (or evening, depending where you are) pleasure...

Nice commentary and photos, Dean :)
Part One
Well as you will remember, we are still in the Canary Islands and today we had some serious tourist work to be done.
So we headed to a major site called the House of Balconies in the hilly town of La Orotava, on the island of Tenerife (One of the Canary islands)
Water stop in the heat of te afternoon, and the ladies have finished repairing Zombie Kat and are now back to making Spanish lace.
Part Two
Zombie Kat making friends with some of the locals.
Balconies everywhere, on the outside, on the inside, and on some of the shop keepers...
And as they say in the Canary Islands, where there are grapes ...
there is wine. But I think they say that everywhere.
But they also say, where there is smokes ...
there must be hot stuff ! But the fire exhauster is ready this time. Also I guess they don't call this place the house of balconies for nothing!
I'm not sure where his paw is resting, but the doll on the left has a worried look on her face. Well that concludes today's visit, and the shop keepers can now relax as I have left the store!
Cobbled this together from yesterday's photos and conversations:

I think it works rather well...done...
