yes, the bicycle can be seen, but the postman/woman is somewhere putting the envelopes into the mail-boxes.....

My Postal Carrier for the week "Amalia" . . they change frequently these days . . . just when I get used to someone a new person takes on the route . . they all seem to enjoy glancing at the mail art . . they always seem to be on a very tight schedule and are in and out of the building in a flash . .

Postgal on summer vacation, and the temporary mailman is

very "cool"...no uniforms, no tote bags or carriers...just

shorts and an arm full of...mail art? Nope: bills!

Due to cost reduction the Dutch Post Company dismissed many people, and then hired employees on temporary (cheaper..) base.

Since then I don't know who our postman / postwoman is.

This is the bike of him/her, who has parked his/her post-bike to hurry to the houses' mailboxes, to deliver all mail as quick as possible (maybe to not be dismissed. too?).
So I didn't see him/her. The only thing  I know for sure is that there is the colour orange in the uniform, similar to the orange in the mail bag on the bike's back.

Here is a French Postie with his official la Poste bike delivering mail to my house.

"He looks a bit like you, Val".

Very nice idea,Ti Ar!

Here is a Greek postal clerk at the local post office,

as they do not deliver packages from

the Haptic Werewolf of Hamburg,

I must walk the walk and wait the line...

but Matilda is always happy

to present me with a "laughing dog" mail art packages

(I never told her that it is really an Erni "werewolf"!)

Que devo fazer neste grupo?

Comment by Ruud Janssen on September 8, 2013 at 2:34pm

Yes, I invited some of my friends to join in to this interesting group. Making clear which persons deliver all our mail-art will be an interesting challenge since it still is an international network we are dealing with...
