My postman had a card from Katerina which made him so happy. I wish I had been ready with my phone and took a video but I did only think of that when he had gone. Silly me.

He is never too busy to have a few words and he gets quite interested in Mail Art. He had posted the letter through my letterbox because, as he told me, he never reads to whom it is addressed ( this one was addressed to him) only reads the address line. Silly him.

So:

Thank you Katerina and Happy New Year from Postman Kevin!

That's clever Momkat, just the van is in the right proportion for the peeps. I didn't spot it, but you did, well done.

Thank you Heleen you have done a great job of showing my mail art, putting together back and front of the envelope to join supermans's legs and body is a stroke of genius. In the blog, I mean, I cannot find a way to put comments there, sorry

Received great mail art from Mail Art Martha, showing her local Postpersons:

Kevin and a Snail Mail Snail!

And here an other one depicting Kevin, showing who/what he in fact is: a Superhero!

Thank you very much, Martha!

I posted more pictures of Martha's mail art on my real weird animals blog.

Here are some local postpersons in ancient Egypt. Pictured by Sally Swain (one of my favourite painters), found in her great book 'Great Housewives of Art Revisited'.

Boa tarde Martha.

Resumindo: Temos: normal, azul, verde e expresso.
