As Mel Anie cannot post photos, here is the potato mail art I sent her:

so happy to see mail going "fast" to the UK. Yay!

I received some more potatoes from Katerina. She is sending me sacks of them.

I think the potatoes are covered in festive chocolate snow, Katerina! Hope you're giving some of these foodie treats to that Greek doggie in the window.

Ana, my potato poetry is on its way to Brazil again. It hasn't come back to me this year and Royal Mail hasn't marked it as 'on suspension' so I picture it zip-speeding its way across the oceans to you.

Glad to see that the potatoes arrived,

'wish I could send you some Greek broccoli, too, Mel Anie!

One of the "perks" from being these months in Greek lockdown,

is that best of fresh produce usually exported to Europe,

is now cheap and available for the natives here :-) Yummy!

Oh dear, Ana, but thank you!

Yummy!

Katerina, there's potato art going your way!

Mel Anie, I've been trying to send you some potato art as well, but the post office has temporarily halted services to the UK... I'll keep on trying but this might take a while.

Greek 'Potato Baby' made it to the UK with New Year's greetings. Cooked by Katerina Nikoltsou. Time to dig in.

How sad... Yes, Katerina, hopefully next year :)
