3D mail art by "E", Ambassadeur d'Utopia.

I think "E"'s paintings scary, however this piece is one of my favourites.
For over 4 years already.

In fact it is a collaboration box:

In December 2011, I sent chocolate letters to France, among them the letter "E", in this  box.
It took many weeks to arrive. Somewhere else here at IUOMA you can read the reason why there had been so much delay. If intraceable, you can find some clue at the picture below.

In March 2012 "E" returned this box to me, with great additions, of "E"'s famous (and scary) black-and-red paintings.

It took only a week or so to arrive.

Since then the box is standing in a corner in my living room. What's inside? I still don't know as I still didnt unpack the box. Too beautiful to open it.

But sure I'll have to open it some day. Maybe you - the members and other viewers of this group - can send me a (private, as this group isn't meant for that) message with tips about when would be the ideal time, and what would be the best way, to open it.

Back side of the box, with some sign of the first journey, to France:

As you can see the box not only has additions added by "E" but also by the Post company.
And also by some other person/organisation.
See this detail of the front side of this box:

Thank you very much, merci beaucoup, "E"!
