The shaved head goes around the world

With my head shaved, in 1987 I was in America and Canada , and then I traveled in 1990 to Europe from London to Leningrad. In 1993 I went to Italy and Finland. During my steps I was greeted by many artists in the mail art who wrote their messages on my head , or you have projected slides or film. In fact, they were all ready waiting for me with a few ideas in mind ...

On 25 January a year ago left us one of the most important figures of the Fluxus movement and certainly the most interesting Japanese artist of the last period . OPHEN VIRTUAL SPACE ART Salerno asks you if you are in possession of the original works of Mail Art made personally by Shozo Shimamoto, inserting them via the Web on this page: FRIENDS OF SHOZO SHIMAMOTO.

- It should be noted that if the works collected via the Web will be a considerable number you can think of to accomplish with the jobs on the internet a virtual exhibition of Mail Art is dedicated to him.

Please attach the photo of the work, the year of receipt of the work, the location of the event and the archive or collection of mail art that is currently spent.
