New received Mail Art Works:
Thanks to the new Mail Artists that sent their pieces to "Take1-Cinema e Mail Art?" call, e obrigado Sabela :)
Gracias Helder,Espero que envien muchos mail art al correo postal , ya que considero que el tema es muy interesante.
Officially, this is the first Mail Art contribution, sent and received by "snail" mail to "Take1- Film and Mail-Art?" project, of the COMA Collective, and come from Spain. Thank you :)
Janine like you say we must Respect MAil Art, but there is a lot of people that dont do that, The Google translater sometimes is funny, " Eu como a cola " in real portuguese translated in english is " i eat the glue " if was what you want to meant, is funny, if was other thing, more fun have :) lol
Today i received the first Mail Art to the "take1-Cinema e Mail Art? " project, but i CANT accept it, the Artist had sent me a reproduction of his work on a postcard, a COPY of his Painting, for me this is simply advertising his work, nothing else, for me in REAL Mail Art, people send ORIGINAL works and ideias, that could be painting, photography, drawing, collage, digital art etc., well i dont like very much Digital Art, but if is unique and without being sent to other Mail Artists its ok for me.
Im a Artist and Mail Artist too, and i dont send reproductions of my works to others, only originals, and i work with Mix Media (Painting, Collage and drawing), every one is free to do what they want, but please dont call yourself Mail Artists, and this is my view point.
Helder I send My Take 1-Cinema e Mail art?. by post. And e-mail: comacolectivo@gmail.com
