It probably is an ancient Ango-Saxon word meaning... as far as I remember... bleached woad... or... alternatively, the answer given by a warrior when asked by his wife if he had remembered to turn over the griddle cakes... woth? A word often followed by the sound of  horned helmet being battered by a large log.  I could be wrong about this so please don't quoth me:~)

It's not the ingredients, it's how you put them together!  It's the same ingredients as any pie crust from scratch - flour, cold water, and either shortening or butter.  It's the way you put them together that makes all the difference. ;)
