Why is so much reluctance to accept digital art- Perché c'è tanta riluttanza ad accettare l'arte digitale

One street painter with whom I was chatting in France about our respective art work asked me if the computer signed it!

Un pittore di strada con cui stavo chiacchierando in Francia della nostra rispettiva opera d'arte mi ha chiesto se il computer l'ha firmata!

I got the impression that people think you do not create the work, it is automatic,  you press a button and the picture is done.

Ho avuto l'impressione che la gente pensi che non crei il lavoro, è automatico, premi un pulsante e l'immagine è fatta.

To complicate the issue, recently we have the birth of A1.

A complicare la questione, recentemente abbiamo la nascita dell'A1.

I like to add that I know very little Italian so the translations are by Google Translate

(Conosco poco l'italiano quindi le mie traduzioni sono di Google Translate)

In my country, in certain galleries you have to sign that no artificial intelligence was involved in the work / creation. This year, they even added an item, some of them, for collective exhibition competitions "artificial intelligence strictly prohibited". I can't be angry with someone who doesn't know something, it's like being angry with a small child. in order to make digital images, it is necessary to know all art attributes + IT literacy.

I agree with Zorica, the computer is only another tool for the artist. Here is something uncharacteristic for me, an abstract done on my tablet with Infinity Painter . Usually I draw free hand on screen.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and art. Like it. Nice selection of shades. I here for IUOMU, I make from a phone, low class. I also use programs, but on unpredicted occasions. Here the limit is 7/10 mb transfer. so it's a little laborious to reduce the size, then re-dpi. or I'm too lazy🤫😄. By the way, for exhibitions I like to start from failed photos. That challenges me to make something to my taste. 🤔😄. I like to make, call some black and white "pointillism". I like to get a line from the pattern. I'm weak with the English language, but I hope you can catch the direction of my thoughts. Thank you, of course, for your text and picture

Zorica, your English is very clear, no problem to understand! Thank you for your nice comments.

I use a program called Painter that lets me paint and draw on the screen of my tablet. I try not to use filters but sometimes I do. I haven't done an exhibition for years!

I scanned a pencil drawing and added it to the abstract, now it is called Teaset on Geometric  Tablecloth.

Ooo, you were diligent and inspired. That's good news. I like the name👏. Well, how should I say it in English? I don't know those words, and the automatic translator is a dangerous fraud.🤫😄❗ You have a nice sense of nuance and fine line. I like that it appeared as a kind of texture in the picture. as a relief, we also say materialization. I unconsciously cut it in my head, immediately, into a triptych with white, with three white frames. So, I was distracted by the details, so I switched to the triptych of apparition. I will take a picture of a fragment for you, what intrigued me. positively. Let me be more clear.

The "problem" in digital art is that each screen displays differently. and because of the very nature, and because of the settings. In the press, too. although classical painting, for example acrylic on canvas, even with professionals and professional equipment is a problem. I am talking about the canvas in the gallery and its presentation in the accompanying documentation, the catalog. Although it's not important, the creation is important (but it's my pluto in the first astral house, it draws me into the details and distracts me from the crucial.🤣😅🤣)
