To El Taller.
Excellent! If anybody will send You painting with his portrait in very traditional manner and will write back "visual poetry" - it will be visual poetry? Or usual traditional sculpture? Everything is visual poetry (if has this words "at the back")? The same is, as I understand, with "mail art"... It is really boring! May be, it's good idea to define by this way cubism or pop-art, by words "at the back"... Do You understand this problem? It's bad idea to go to authors for "where to place their works", it's work of curator and organizer of the project.

mmmmm .... not for me, for the author.

"...that only the author is authorized to decide where to place their work."

..... inside the Mailart or inside the Visual Poetry

Please, look at http://www.eltallerdezenon.com/mailart/calls08.html

So, El Taller, You can not define visual poetry by content, but every work with words VISUAL POETRY at the back will become visual poetry for You? It's wonderful! Everything is visual poetry!

Project of exchange and classification initiated in 2007

The mailbox feeds on what arrives through this channel. El Taller de Zenón tries to classify it, but this does not always coincide with the author's vision. The border between the different artistic areas is becoming more blurred by the minute and theoreticians do not agree on the boundaries of each field. After years of research and study to get to know the differences, we have decided, that only the author is authorized to decide where to place their work.
