I hate that I've been late on this stuff, but I am having the worst kind of creative block. I have no idea what to contribute!

I have been asked if people can post when they get their mail - I think so - NOTHING replaces the real thing? Right? Wotcha think???

Ooohhh...amazing that those two photos come from the same place! I am completely fascinated. All that and cats and monkeys keeping tabs on one another...wild!

Wow you guys! Thanks for all the hard work Katerina - I warned everyone making books is addictive. I am waiting EVERYDAY at the post box waiting, waiting for Prem to come up the hill - in fact, from tomorrow I'm going to meet him at the bottom - that way I'll get my mail 10 seconds faster!! I went for a wild ride up the coast yesterday - no med sea ours - it was WINDY (the north coast always is) - but I love wind, and the sand whipped me into subjection. This is esp for Jen who is so curious about where I live - the path to the beach:

Maria, both my chapter and the copies I made for Val's chapter for "Alexander", are simple A4 sheet photocopied back and front.
And on a bit too "slick" a type of paper, but ok. The color is fairly good, but 13 coppies of "original" collage or montage work is a lot of work!
I never was an artist-book person, but after this project, ya never know...I think I am hooked, and will like to try some type of "book" or chapter that can be done 13/15 times with a bit more "original" material on each page and not just photocopied. However, Holiday Season coming soon...perhaps I'll still be in "photocopy-mode".

Unfortunately, late Sunday night, I ran out of those Greek blue-n-white edged air mail envelopes and 4 lucky people will be getting the Val chapter in a "PollyAnna Pleasantry" trimmed envelope. sigh. But "variety" is the spice of life, or something to that effect. Oh, yes, Alexander has given his permission to OPEN the VAL-envelope :-)

That's so impressive. 13 copies! Now I'm starting to feel very guilty because I could only make plain photocopies of my chapter for the Crimson Giant. Hmmmm... next time I'll think about different media.
