Yep, everyone gets it! It's 'normal'!! Ha! Your brain needs time away to freshen up, shall we say? I should know better, I think I work best under stress and minutes away from deadlines, but sometimes it's to my detriment...ugh, I've exhibited dreadful artworks which at the time I thought were quite brilliant!! HA! They quickly get painted over or torn up when returned. ;-P Oh well.
So, back to washi... does anyone know if that tape is Cavallini, the numbers one? It's lovvvvely!
Thanks, I agree! (You know it's odd - when I've been at a design for a long time, it's like I can't see or think after a while... So i do something else, and when I come back hours later, the answer is often glaringly clear. The moment I looked at this again a couple hours after I had felt boogles, I knew/there was no doubt which one. I find that strange... (I suppose it's a "forest for the trees" kind of thing...) aaanyway, tanks again babe!
Hi Claire,
I had a look and I'd definitely say the top one, slightly thinner at the top. It just looks more balanced because of the mass of text below. You asked 4 hours ago, maybe I'm too late, but hey, it all looks good!
You're not the only one it seems...These are the two he choose to use (inside panels altered). I'm working on the disc label now.

If you're around, I have a question: of the 2 inner panels now on the page, which do you prefer? (The only difference is the top blue border & title shift. In one it's thinner than the bottom, in the other it's symmetrical. I can't make up my mind (why do I sweat such lil' things I'll never know!)
Didn't I tell ya (that the index books were gorgeous!!!)?!
Beautiful Kim! I hope you feel better love!
hey Viz! The vintage and tickets are a Tim Holtz tissue tape. Gorgeouse tapes, but they're nothing like washi. It's very thin, they rip easily, and do not stick well; but... They come in pairs, that one's called "Journeyman."

If you can't find and want some, let me know and I will order a set for you next time I order.
ps. is that number tape Cavallini?
Eeeeee!!! Kim, those index things are gorgeous!! What are the vintage and ticket washis called??? I need to have them!! Oh, no wonder you have a headache making such perfectly straight lines in books! I think I may try a washi book meself...
Claire, I'm absolutely drooling over your CD covers, I'd have a hard time choosing a final design, but I guess I'd choose the spinal one, wonder why that is....
And Kat, thanks for the little sampler of washiiiii, just got it now! Those stamps from Ruud are also cool, do you think you could make me a photocopy of the set? I want to stare at them ALL!!!
This is Truly the Last Post for a few weeks. I had a little reprieve, and now its just me and my Nook tablet, which I don't know how to work anyway. ..thanks Claire for info on a friend, I am in awe of your work.
