Can't see buying too many washis, too expensive for the "real" good ones.

I found that I could not buy from amazon in the USA, they didn't "export" to Europe!

so I went to amazon.uk...and they sent wasi-washi fast.

But, now...little washi is left, and it is almost heart breaking when the tape end comes...aack!

No more "music", no more "black lace", no more "red"...all gone to Valentine cards! hahaha!

Some "sewing measure" left , and "sayings"...but coming soon to their end :-(

Well, thanks to Kim, I do have BLUE washis...some already used on mail art :-) like the turquoise!

Hey Kim, my last package from LL took about 2 weeks. But I'm sure the times are different to different countries...

btw, did you see my reply to you that was sent as a private message? LMK! I really think you should do the sample book! (and: did you get my hint...? You should consider making smaller/sample ones to send as mail art - what I saw was really great - loved it! Aaanyway, I am getting ready to leave town so I would not be able to get to it until I return, but I will be more than happy to oblige! ^_^

Sorry Kim, all funds go to TAPE! (Well, not all, but far too much!!!)

Love to all!

Dear girls,

Now I know about PayPal very well. V!

I was struggling with PayPal all evening. (sweat)

(I had to send some money to LightLife by PayPal.)

So~, now you girls can send me $$$ anytime so I can use it as my pocket money! hehehe!
Have a good day! (and Good night, vizma!)

Hey girls,
I have a question.

How long does it usually take to get something from LightLife?

vizma, do you know this shop on Etsy? "WashiTapeLove"

https://www.etsy.com/shop/WashiTapeLove?ref=l2-shopheader-name

This shop is in Adelaide, SA and sells Washi samples. (1 metre per design)

Those Yamada people are missing out on making a lot of money! Only in Japan?? That's crazy talk. Thanks for doing the research for us, KIm! ;-)

I NEED a gacha gacha machine! In every room! In my studio! And one in the car!!!

Glad you're all having fun here, me too!

Oh, you grew up in Chicago!
How long had you lived there?

I'm very glad to know more about you. (all of you here!)

I feel like we are FAMILY! :)))

I'm so very happy here thanks to you girls!

Thank you for starting this page, vizma! :)

THANKS, Kim :-)

Thaks, Kim, I am making lots of Valentine Mail Art,

(mail art for Valentine's Day not all for Val :-) hahaha!

Yes, we are watching the Winter Olympics, too.

I especially like watching the figure skating.

I do not do winter sports now in Greece, "at my age", but as a child and teen in Chicago,

there was lots of ice for skating, that I enjoyed in-my-youth! Ah, the good old days!

(Though I really do not miss the ice and cold winters)

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 8, 2014 at 4:12pm

Katerina, your Valentine card is so lovely! ♡

Are you Greek people enjoying winter sports, too?

I'm not interested in sports much, but I like watching winter sports. So speedy and exciting!

So I'm enjoying watching the Winter Olympics in Sochi now.

Claire, do you know what "gacha gacha (Japanese)" means?
It means "
clitter-clatter" in English.

If you've already known this, Sorry! :)))

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 8, 2014 at 3:53pm

I'm disappointed, but on the other hand, we can save our money that we will spend at Yamada.

Let's think positively! :)))

(I bet the money will go to Esty. hehehe!)

But, I think Yamada should open a shop at Etsy.
Well, should I ask them to open a shop at Etsy?

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 8, 2014 at 3:53pm

Bad news! :(
I emailed Yamada stationery before I went out and the reply from Yamada arrived while I was outdoors.

Unfortunately, they don’t ship worldwide. (even to Korea) :(
They deliver only in Japan.

This is the reply from Yamada.

Oh, the wonderful world of washi-washi!

Just seeing all your photos is a real treat, gals!

And that is a gum-ball machine washi dispenser???? Amazing!

I have just about finished my red and black-lace washis on Valentine cards...

soon " back-to-blue", thanks to Kim :-)

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on February 8, 2014 at 8:09am

That's so sweet Kim, thank you! ^_^ I don't think they ship to the US. That's why I said I would pay for the shipping to you, then I would pay you to ship it to me. If you have a PP account, I would just send the $ to you, and then it's in your PP account for you to spend (wee!). I am broke this month, so it would not be until March anyway. If you want tapes, you could fill your basket at Etsy for the same amount I spend, and I would buy it and have it shipped to you. But we'll discuss the details later...

Have a great & noisy weekend!

Kisses to all washiholics! ^_^

As a goodbye, I have some pictures of the MT expo "gacha gacha" machines!

Yes, Yamada has so much cool stuff! (Mr. Yamada makes me crazy!)

http://yamadastationery.jp/ (<--- for vizma!)

Of course, I can order at Yamada for you, Claire. :)
My Japanese is much better than English. (English is too difficult for me. :( )

First, I should ask them if they ship worldwide or not.

I’m going out today so I’ll email them tomorrow.

(I’m going to meet my old girlfriends today. It should be fun and NOISY. :) )

I don’t know about Paypal very well.
It was my first time to use Paypal on Esty the day before yesterday.

I think I should learn more about Paypal.

But I don’t want you to pay me in CASH.
I want WASHI!!! :)))

I don’t need cash anymore because I’ve got too much cash! (Yes, I’m lying now. Sorry! I wish I had... :( )

Let’s swap, Claire!

Now we’re approaching Yamada it means we’re getting more dangerous and closer to debtors prison. hahaha!

Have a good weekend, girls!
Love you, all!

I'm so excited now, Kim!! Thank youuuu! Real, GOOD origami paper! Maps are beautiful, aren't they? I'm so luckyyy! xxx

Hi Claire! I think you're always going to sleep as I'm waking up!!

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on February 8, 2014 at 2:16am

omg Kim, that sea map paper is great! I meant to ask you if you have a Paypal account and maybe I could pay you to place an order at Yamada for me sometime...? (I would pay all the costs, shipping to you and then to me, etc.) Please don't feel obligated of course, I just thought I would ask because they have some things I really want (rather: NEED - lol!).

Hello Vizma!

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 7, 2014 at 10:23am

My sweet & funny girlfriend, vizma!
Some thin and GOOD papers for your delicate origami are on the way to you.
I don't wanna show you all now for your expectation. :)))

Comment by vizma bruns on February 7, 2014 at 9:22am

HAAA! Your grasp of English is very fine indeed, Kim!!! Yes, it always makes sense...to me anyway!!

I buy old atlases in op-shops here, and I make envelopes from them. The pages are a bit too thick for delicate origami, but ok for bigger things. And you bought from etsy for the first time?? Oh no, you will become unstoppable, girlfriend!!!

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 7, 2014 at 5:36am

Not "Stationary" but "Stationery".
Well... whenever I find something fabulous, my body becomes "stationary". <--- Does it make sense? ^^
