hahaha! I don't think I'll open a shop because my stuff is PRICELESS.

I spend most of my time sharing my LOVE with people who need my love like Mother Theresa. (Just kidding! :))

But it's true I like sharing something nice with nice people. (only NICE people!)

I use Origami papers when I make collage.

I think you'll see at a glance how much stuff you have if you sort out your studio.
Ah... I wanna fly to you to check it out!!!

Btw, that washi is so pretty!

Comment by vizma bruns on February 3, 2014 at 9:27am

Yes, that's the brand Aimez le style.

Canal and Streets. The horse only comes around every metre!!

YES, I do have a good friend in Korea, Kim! Very generous of you, but you don't have to send me everything I like!!! I have some plain squares from a friend that used to live in Japan, and like you, she didn't do origami either! What do you do with it, Kim? Will you open a shop one day!!???

Sending you a little envelope tomorrow!! But I couldn't find the bone clips!! Next time!

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 2, 2014 at 3:45am

I bought one of these in Singapore, too. Too mad for paper!

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 2, 2014 at 3:42am

hahaha! I wanna fly to you right now. :)
Maybe the brand is "aimlez le style"? (Mike Cap is also aimlez le style's.)

Don't worry, my friend!
I have many pieces of Origami paper I bought in Korea, Japan and USA.
I'll send you some.
You have a good friend in Korea, don't you? hehehe! :)))

We say origami too. I have several books and have been making lots of things lately. But the papers are hard to find and expensive, so I cut my own on the guillotine!

I have just the origami to send you! I've got a few things collected for you, Kim, I'll try to get them in the post this week!

The horse tape is new, what's the brand Le Aimee/Aimez?? The pattern I think is called Canal. I should write down these details as I buy them!! So unorganised, when are you coming to sort out my studio!!!???

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 2, 2014 at 2:44am

Wow, vizma, you can do Origami! ("Origami" means folding paper to make something in Japanese, as you did.)
I'm not good at Origami. (What do you say in English? Folding paper?)
You have BONE paper clips? (droolll~! I have only bone sticky notes.)
I'm a dog person so I love items related with dogs. :)

Your horse washi is SO VERY wonderful!!!
Have a good weekend!

Yes! Found a horse in my stash!!!!

Comment by vizma bruns on February 2, 2014 at 2:12am

Yes, I did have a play handkerchief, but sent it to Claire. I just wanted to learn how to fold that guy!

That Woodstock is a cutie, Kim!! I have some paper-clip planes, cars, butterflies and bones! I still love Claire's simple round ones the best.

Yes, happy year of the horse!!

Dear fellow washi-holics, I am in need of your washi-investication skills!

Anyone here send me this card with the lovely blue dotted washi along the edges????

And near the portrait photo:

Do we know who might have sent it? It has a USA stamp on it, Claire?

More at this blog:

Who might this be? From the USA!

@ Kim - welcome back chere! (Now, was that so bad? %_^)

I meant to say I love the owl bag and card - the wax paper over the card I think I discern looks especially enticing - lucky girl! But I am too - that lucky handk. Vizma pictured is now MINE! Tee-hee-hee!

And, that collage is not the one in the env. to you - 'tis a secret... %_^

(Paper Paper Paper...!!!)(I'm stamping my fists on the desk...)

Did I say "Happy New Year!!!"? If I forgot: best wishes love! ^_^

@ Vizma - Ah, but by extension the credit goes to thou: when I was searching Etsy for a blue wave tape, I stumbled across that gem! ^_^

Back to washi collage (wee this is fun! And I think some of the quickest work I've ever done... I'm very slow/perfectionist designer)

Comment by Kim JungYoun on January 31, 2014 at 3:53pm

Oh, vizma, you’ve got a Japanese play handkerchief!
I’ve got two.

My mom’s Japanese friend sent these to my mom about 18 years ago.

Comment by Kim JungYoun on January 31, 2014 at 3:40pm

Hey, Girls! I’m back~! :)))

First, thank you, Claire for your wonderful collage and envelope.

Can’t wait!!!
Thank you! Thank you!

vizma, you can see all the items in my box on page 4 and 5.

I posted all. (wax papers, washis and a red washi cutter)

Katerina, I made the blue owl envelope with wrapping paper for you.

I’ll sent it to you on Monday.

As I told you, I decided to keep both washi cutters for myself. hehehe!
The grey one is magnetic so I’ll use it for my MIDORI’s paper chips.
(Snoopy & Woodstock are not MIDORI’s.)
There are too many beautifulll things in the world! (Sigh)

Me? Do you mean the one on Kim's envie?  'Twas not me! I sent you the traditional Japanese stylised waves on the chopsticks, but I haven't seen those curly waves before!

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on January 31, 2014 at 10:08am

@ Vizma: thanks for turning me onto that cool blue stylized waves tape love! ^_^
