You are correct Vizma - I utterly related to Susan's washi shopping story too! (I just got last month's PP bill (all for Etsy) - omg I must be friggin' INSANE!!! I will NOT reveal the depths of my obsession, but I can promise you it's rather frigging terrifying...)

so there wench! %_^

Comment by vizma bruns on February 13, 2014 at 2:38am

Maybe Kim got wrapped up in it and can't get out!!!!

I agree with you there, Claire, as you know I'm not into cutesy either, and I don't like flowers in art, only real ones! BUT... I can always find a use for things, such as these cat faces, they would be great in collages to use in place of human heads, etc. I turn cute on it's ass!! ;-))

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on February 13, 2014 at 2:32am

(Hey, did it work out with your papers, or are you still at it?... Or maybe you gave up...? %_^)

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on February 13, 2014 at 2:30am

It is very cute indeed! But I have to be honest and say I'm not really into "cute" stuff (kittie cats, dolls, doilys, etc - "little girlie" stuff) - it's just not really my personal style. In case this is not clear when English is not your main language, I am not saying any thing that is meant as an insult AT ALL!! It's just not "my thing", my taste. I do like beautiful things though - I love flowers! %_^ (But: it can be a very "fine line." I hope that makes sense to you because I'm not sure how I would explain it - lol! %_^)

Hiya girls, and a belated welcome to you, Susan!! I laughed so much at your washi shopping story, I find myself in that predicament all the time!! I start sweating and get short of breath and need to cancel the whole order! Panic attacks!!! You're here with people who get it!! And YES YES, please send to meeee!!!!  And share your pics here too!!!

Kim, aww, that's cute indeed, I like the  kitten with the Hitler type moustache and the one asleep on the roll, and, and!!! You should have my airmail package soon, Kim!!!??

I think I may need to visit etsy now, well, no one else will buy me washi for Valentine's Day!!!! ;-))

Isn't it so cute? :)  (mark's)

Dear Katerina,
I received your lovely Valentine's card yesterday.
I love it! (I love Greek postcard, too!)

Thank you so much!!! :)

Comment by Kim JungYoun on February 11, 2014 at 6:17am

Oh, Claire, I’m so sorry again about forgetting to answer you.
Yes, I do want the red one. :)

Thank you!

I'm struggling with VERY large papers now.

I’m cutting them into A2 size.

It’s quite hard work because the paper is large, thick and rolled up.

But I need to make them flat to use easily later.

It's coffee time now! :)  (I need a break.)

Welcome Susan  'tis fun indeed! Strange, everyone I've purchased from on Etsy takes PP... If you're in the US, try this (good prices, and free shipping over 50.00!

So sorry I forgot to reply and say "Thank you!".

Wow.  I want to play with all of you!  I LOVE washi tape!  In fact I think I commented on this thread  a long time ago, but I'm old and can't remember.  hehe.  I've been collecting washi tape for about two years, I don't have a huge amount, but now I can plainly see I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH. I WANT MORE.

SO, I was reading this thread and got to a post (Kim?) where there was a link to Etsy for washi tape.

There are 92 pages of washi tape!!!!!!!! By page 24 I already had too much washi tape in my cart and was sweating, then I tried to check out and they wouldn't give me the option of paypal. Whew! Saved!!!

that was a close call.   I guess maybe that seller doesn't take paypal?  So quickly I came back here. Still having a hot flash thinking about what I almost bought.  What was I doing>>!!??

It just goes to show ya that when it comes to Washi tape, I am not responsible for my actions. Thank goodness my car isn't running well or I would be driving around looking at art and craft stores tonight.

Thats enough rambling for now from me.....but I do have some cool washi tape and would be willing to send generous strips (can that be done? ) to who ever would like some.

mainly I just want to hang out with all of you cool washi tape nuts.

Aw, tanks love!

ha ha ha! Well, that can look great, I promise you - wondrous accents!

Comment by Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat) on February 10, 2014 at 11:34pm

Thank you, Claire! I shall treasure them when they arrive.

In fact, I worry that i might horde them and not want to use the washis too much

so they do not end ! I might start putting only tiny "stamp" size pieces and not long

"ribbons" of washi tape. haha!

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on February 10, 2014 at 11:29pm

Sorry to hear that Kat... Your cards are lovely! Well, you will be receiving more blue washi from me before long... Not sure how long it takes to get to Greece, but I (finally!) shipped last Fri...
