We always did, even painted a wall orange in our first house. People were shocked by it, amazing!

:) orange ya glad  I.U.O.M.A brings so much joy?

Orange art (lovely and lacey) received from Boo Boo Girl.  Thank you!  (Catching up after  two weeks vacation.)

One of my best friends "hates" orange. She was admiring a tablecloth, considering buying it, but it had a teeny stripe of orange in it and that was a deal breaker. It's really interesting to me that people can have such strong likes and dislikes around color. For me it's so much about context--this particular arrangement of these particular colors, and I love being surprised by a new combination that I never would have thought of.

I never thought of orange as my favorite color and then recalled my favorite shirt as I cavorted on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa usa way back in the early-mid 1960's. It was bright orange, pullover, long-sleeved and hopsacking. Together with my green, velvety pants got me told by someone that I looked like a frog.

Now, I wear Liberty bib overalls and a plaid, longsleeve shirt in the cold months and a shortsleeve, 'Hawaiian' shirt when it's warmer.
