IUOMA 20 Years

After 20 years of IUOMA there should be some special documentation. I just need some input too from IUOMA-members new and old about what this could be. Therefor this new group to discuss that. The discussion resulted in a book that is now available

Thanks to Ruud and the MailArtPeople! It's an incredible occasion to share much more personal visions of "what's art"!

I support the idea of a printed book, and Denis Charmot's suggestion of using an online vanity publishing service like Lulu or Blurb even. I've used Blurb to publish exhibition catalogs for my solo exhibitions in the past and it works great. It would make available to all of us the option to purchase a copy or more. Also the sale of each book would raise funds for the person who posted it as compensation for all the layout work involved.

Other way... is of course.. a site into IUOMA_NETWORK... that document your & our activities as a members... Internet is a social way to inform about this retrospective activity to all of us and public new incomers...
Be good friend...

Dear Ruud... Boths ways... DVD & Book are Important... for your sui generis experience.... that help IUOMA members to join, knowing & interact and Make Mail Art in several ways... specially for your persistence uploading this group in a virtual community... congratulations...!!!

One alternative... reading all comments... it would be to contribute to you with money directly to edit your book... all our pockets together... Will could be possible this proposal...
- A big Show & that document IUOMA activities it will be wonderful... & necessary (Pollacci)...
Thanks a lot for your special welcome...

I like the idea for the book, it could be published by Lulu with a free downloadable version and a paper to pay the minimum rate of Lulu. This book could contains mailart about IUOMA that we send to Ruud (it is used to publish on Lulu), texts on each, a text on the history of mailart.
