Super Hero, back to your potential legal problems - you could make an anonymous call to the Postmaster General in DC and say you suspect your neighbor of committing mail fraud and ask about the various penalties for the infractions you are considering. Everyone seems pretty broke, but we could start are a Legal Defense Fund in anticipation of your Mail-Art Martyrdom. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time....

i know my drawing teacher tried to pound that into us, how there is a difference between nude "art" and pornography - but i think that is a very limited view of art. i think to exclude pornography as art is to exclude a giant piece of humanity, especially now in our digital age. porn is widely distributed on the internet, probably far more so than art proper.there is a lot of reflection on the human condition to be found in pornography. if writers can write about the porn industry, and sell their books about it, why couldn't an artist make a similar work about it, using pictures instead of words, and it be art?

.It is true "from what I read"...but like most laws..sometimes they don't bother people. sometimes they do. They sell lots of things that are not really legal..if you really think about it.
