I am curious how members view the phenomenon of spontaneous asemics and if they ever experience something like I did this afternoon. I was tidying my workspace and while lifting a pile of paper I detected marks of ink that got stuck to the plastic…Continue

Hi I am new here because by chance I saw your question. I have used Fontographer to create my own fonts from drawings and it is easy and free. It will work with W7, I think. You need a painting /graphic program to create tiny drawings of each…Continue

Adapted from Wikipedia Asemic writing is a wordless open semantic form of writing. The word asemic means “having no specific semantic content.” With the nonspecificity of asemic writing there comes a vacuum of meaning which is left for the reader to…Continue

I received a great package from Thomas M. Cassidy aka Musicmaster (Minnesota, USA) that I think is relevant to the group. Many thanks to MM!

Google Deep Dream's re-interpretation of Corel PhotoPaint's textual additions with motion blur upon an already deep dreamed screen captuer of Electric Sheep. Asemic? Semisemic?
Moan, looks like you've started this on FB.
Maybe a thread in this group if you need it? It's good if people can post drafts somewhere, only it would muck up this main thread and maybe be confusing.
So good for you if you're doing it.
But you would still have, say, 16 people participating?
Everyone has to mail a copy to the 15 others in the group.
Then everyone has a copy.
It would work.
I've blogged 5 new pieces by our own Kerri Pullo. Many thanks to Kerri.

Moan, the threads and instructions for the Asemics 16 project are still here in this group. It's a fairly complicated process where people have to send chapters to everyone else contributing to the group. We kept it at 16 people per book. It works but it takes constant managing through the process.
