Mim, I see it more that you committed yourself, dug in, learned, experimented. I've seen work by some of the "classic" asemic writers - can't remember, can find it on line - who took the approach you took. That's an indication you're on the right track, not that there is right or wrong. Anyway, I LIKE the results.

Thanks, De Villo. I was feeling a bit anxious about this, as I really am such a newby to asemic. I mean, I get what it appears to be, but doing it myself, that's another story. Off to teach teachers how to use mail art in their classrooms. A paying gig. Lucky moi!

Glad to hear your asemic pieces are headed my way, Mim. I have other mail-art from you that is, I think, connected with 365. Very nice work with vispo and asemic references in places. I'll shoot for a retrospective Mim blog to bring us up to the present.

 

Mim - I think what you did with slicing letters from the alphabet is a great approach, if I didn't say this elsewhere
