Page Trade/Exchange?

I often have several scribble/sketchbooks going at once, and I rarely finish them.

Some pages contain work I consider unsuccessful or difficult to look at—usually because I was experimenting, learning, or simply having an off day. But those pages might still have potential.

Would anyone be interested in exchanging unfinished, “bad,” or abandoned pages and either collaborating on them or reinterpreting the ideas in their own style?

It could also be fun to exchange stronger pieces, replace pages etc.

I think it could be an interesting way to breathe new life into old work and see how someone else responds to an idea. Of course, participation could be as casual or collaborative as people prefer.

Maybe we could even do a sketchbook tour or share the results once a sketchbook—or a collaborative project—is complete. Would anyone be interested in trying something like this?

This might already be happening and have a name to it?  I know books get passed around but perhaps the the expense of sending a book is daunting where a page or pages or even clippings might be and idea.

this sounds interesting to me. I have a bunch of old sketchbooks too. sending a whole book would be pricey. maybe send one sheet and as it goes around anyone can add a sheet into the mix somehow?

it is an interesting idea, I'm game. maybe except having to pay postage on a large package, obviously. definitely keep me in the loop, please
