Bill passed away on March 3, 2023. I talked to him the night before on the telephone, and he was in good spirits and at peace. His daughter Lisa was with him. She will be staying on at the house for a while and could receive condolence cards or notes of encouragement if you want to reach out. I did not know Bill for long, but we exchanged art and letters frequently over the past year. I hope to remember his sense of humor in his mail art. He was a talented artist, a printer with a longtime print shop in Olathe, Colorado, and a website of mail art supplies, a pilot, and had many other interests and adventures. I know he was a friend to and art trader with many of you. He looked forward to joining his late wife Kathy. The last thing he said to me was, "See you on the other side." He and we all will remain in the Eternal Network in memory, art legacy, and continuity of the mail art traditions. --Coco
Bill — Thank you for the random act of mail art! I received it last month and just posted it to the Art Envelopes group (not sure if you saw). The other thing we have in common is that I'm from Colorado too (but haven't lived there in 25 years)! I will be sure to reciprocate at some point — in the meantime, I send you best wishes for good health.
Thank you for your mailart Bill. Did the postage rate just change? How could I miss that, I just mailed some letters with insufficient postage earlier then. Thank you for informing!
I know I will enjoy the book. We got married in Colorado when my husband was stationed at Fr. Carson. We've traveled Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, etc. many times! I love history! Thank YOU for the first book referral via the IUOMA!. Pam
Hi Bill, Thanks for your fat envelope that arrived yesterday!
I will add something to the booklet, but I think you should join the Add&Pass group! And please don't send booklets with cardboard, that is much too heavy and gets too expensive if you have a lot of A&Ps and other cards to send around! Best wishes and see you in the mail
