Here's my artspace today, about like it usually looks. Semi-controlled chaos.

Thank you for sharing, Toni! Looks much more organized than my space, and wow, so much green when you look out of the window, I love it!
As said my space is less organized - although my art spaces can vary, in look, size and location: today I made drawings-on-envelopes at a small (organized / empty) table in the train :-)

That's HUGE.  I live in a 750 square foot condo in downtown Toronto.  While I can spread out on our dining table for big projects, I generally work on my cards in this space.  I feel very at home here because this was my grandfather's desk where he would sit and write letters or pay the bills.  The little drawer in the middle is for stamps. I have kept some of his books in the top shelves of the bookcase but some of my art books are on the bottom. There's a Victoria silver jubilee plate on the shelf and my Grandfather's binoculars (which I still use to see what the heck is going on that's making all the racket on Church Street, or whatever.) There's a nice drawer under the fold down desk that fits sketch books and papers and a cabinet beneath is the home for cans full of brushes and pens. Don't worry, I do cover the oak when I work :-) The piece dates to 1830's.
