Two-Fers: Foster, Champlin & Courcelle

I've been surprised to find actual works of art by Jon Foster secreted in among the sheaf of xeroxes he sends me. Jon uses an interesting technique of sanding the finished work to give the texture more grit, more authenticity. It works well. Thank you, Jon.

Two more vividly realized collages from Karen Champlin. Great composition and color palettes. Thank you, Karen.

Amazingly enough Thom Courcelle and I have been doing research, independent of each other, on obscure Tarot decks. These are just two of his recent discoveries. He suspects their origin may be Italian because they were printed on the backs of DeCecco Linguine Boxes. It's definitely a hefty clue. The dented can of peas motif first appeared in Venice in 1455 so there are some linkages there waiting to be unearthed by sleuths such as we. Thank you, Thom for your valuable work in this arena. Not many people know that Thom was commissioned by the Vermont Poetry Council to write dirty limericks for each town in the state. These are, mind you, the OFFICIAL dirty limericks so...it's a pretty big deal. Thank you, Thom. See you in the mail box.

Well said, poet laureate of Rutland.

The poet of Rutland, Vermont

Still Smarting from GOP Taunt

Vowed to fight to the end

for the limerick's friend

And the chance to claim fame en passant.

DOGE rescinded the funding for my Vermont Limerick Poetry author tour. The State Humanities office was PISSED and is filing a motion to have E1on Mu$k drawn and quartered on top of one of his burning TESLAs. The case *may* go all the way to the Supreme Court...and we all know how that ruling will come out with Drumph's sychophantic judges on the bench. (wink, wink) ...I mean, what better way to ignore the Constitution than to ignore the cruel and unusual punishment clause?!  Right?

...Oh boy...I feel a new limerick coming on.

.

A shitty billionaire de-funded my poet tour...

Now my limericks fall flat without metaphor...

We will rise against DOGE

And the billionaire STOOGE

And distribute his funds to the poor!!!!
