the axis of post 1211

"the axis of post 1211" is a personal transmission project inspired by Michael Thompson and MH de Luna’s Axis of Evil, reimagined through my own journey and practice. Taking their idea of subverting the postal system as a creative conduit, this album explores the mail not as infrastructure, but as medium—an intimate network for circulation, misdirection, and transformation.
Where Axis of Evil challenged the authority and neutrality of institutional systems, "the axis of post 1211" turns inward. Each piece functions like a sent object: delayed, intercepted, stamped by experience, altered in transit. The post office becomes a metaphor for control, expectation, and routine—systems meant to organize meaning, but easily bent into something poetic, personal, and subversive.
"the axis of post 1211" is about reclaiming pathways that were never meant for art, and using them anyway. It is a record of movement, friction, and quiet rebellion—of messages that refuse to arrive as intended. What emerges is not homage, but continuation: a parallel route that honors its influences while carving out its own map.
