Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

I used everything i can find..in books,net,friends,stamps.. sit down at my working place and go for it... a friend of mine had so much stencils and many thinks..I often go there and let her show me new creative ways..but most of my shit is just outcoming from somewere..Most of the time I glue together what I think my eyes like..and sometimes I do the opposite of it..lol..

i like to finish a piece in one sitting and if it doesn't feel right i stop or cover over. but i am methodical about what i find aestheticly pleasing to my eye. ripping is great to blend textures and colours.

i also made endless mudpies and found a certain fallen log that made "red mud" (probaly a cedar). i got a "video camera" toy at like 2 and thought i could make movies... i would always be recording weird sounds and stories to play with audio and time and pacing on my little fisher price tape deck. taking pens to make my "signieture" or to try to write and draw!
now collage. i loved glue and tape. i would fill a sink with tons of toilet paper and water and make with perfectly smooth paste to make sculptures. i got in trouble for that... a lot. haha!
