Thank you for the wonderful set of ATCs! My husband is a science writer specializing in geology and he loved the two hoodoo cards.

I also loved the Sun Cookie and the envelope filled with a Multitude of Suns. A nice bit of cheer for a rainy day like today!

Thanks again and cheers!

Bonjour Theo! What good timing, Monsieur...your Spring card arrived just as we moved our clocks (here inEurope -- in Canada too?) forward an hour, to acknowledge that Spring had arrived and that Summer will not be far behind. The poem -- and card -- bought a smile to my face and, indeed a skip to my step.

I'll be mailing you both something back soon.

Thanks again and best wishes, Val

Thank you for the beautiful Seasonal Greetings, Theo! It arrived today, on the first day of spring.

I visited your website and saw that you create ATCs. If you're interested in a trade, let me know.

Goede Morgen, Mijnheer Nelson. I'm glad you like my site and the stamp art stuff. I seem to have millions of stamps, some quite valuable ones in different rather specialised collections, but the bulk jof them is ust sitting around in boxes and envelopes and packets and tins and jars and..;well, sometimes I decide to put them to good use. I'm especially drawn to Silly Stamp nonsense these days. The thematic composition and then design of stamps has alwyas fascinated me, but these dyas it's all a bit of a dying art as everything has gone so very digital. perhaps this is why I'm now attempting lino cutting. 250 years later I might get into engraving.

Tot ziens, Val -- in Dutch mode today, aka Hertz van Rental

Bonsoir! I hope y'all had a good Xmas; the postperson delivered me your Winter streams/Solstice card/poem today, and very nice it is too...although looking at all that snow just makes me shiver.

When I recover from Xmas celebrations, and the resultant excess of booze, I'll mail you something back in the next few days.

Thanks again...and best wishes for 2012. Val

Bonjour Theo and all the Citoyens of Whimsy!

Thanks Theo for a great envelope -- AND I got a 'bonus' FUBAR owl too, lucky me!

I'll definitely include the envelope -- a First (and only?) day of issue, no less -- in the first exhibition, "Sige(a)nVeloppe" that will be held in Sigean (!) in May, 2012. It won't be in the 2nd Exhibition, "L'été à Sigean/Summer in Sigean" in August because all the envelopes exhibited there have to be in a standard format -- but more about that later when/if I put our a call for contributions.

In the meantime, my regards to you, the citizens of your Republic (are you the President?), and, of course, FUBAR.

I'll be mailing you something back soon.

Liberté, Egalité et Art Postal!

Dear Whimsy and color.Com - thank you for the TWO cards which arrived - relatively in tact - its grey here, and raining (unseasonal), so your Mountain Summer 2 - FAB!!! AND White Mountain 1 :-) - you saw my street??? Weird that - I went and looked too - didnt even know that was there - AND that you can 'walk' around it - Spooky :-))) - no mountains in sight here, just undulating hills that at the moment are watery :-) X
