I think Mr. Putori's wood mail art is so generous and thoughtful! I will definitely send him something and let him know I am an IUOMA member. I hope he will like it.

At least it sounds like there were no hic-ups during the meeting of our two leaders. I didn't know Papandreou was born in St. Paul though-wow. Small world. I live in a neighborhood where many Greeks settled, so I eat at the Acropol Inn every once in a while, and I LOVE Dino's gyros. The Greek Orthodox church up the street holds a Greek festival every summer and it's a lot of fun. Ta leme. (is that correct?)

Believe it or not! I received your two art cards today. It seems like you just sent them a few days ago. They are beautiful and the colors are energizing! I will try to scan them in soon so everyone at IUOMA can see them. I'm glad you like the Elmer's glue, especially if you had it in your childhood. May I ask where you lived as a child that you had Elmer's Glue? Years ago I used to live in Tokyo and had access to the most wonderful art supplies. Now when my Japanese friends send me paints and papers I cry I am so happy to receive them. Let me know if there's something else I can send from St. Paul that you cannot get in Greece:)

Katerina! Glad you are enjoying the little "Note to Self" I sent (that is me in the photo)... The method of printing very simple. Black and white print on card stock and sepia print on vellum... edged with a silver marker... Here in the US there's talk of the US Postal Service dropping Saturday deliveries... is snail mail on it's way out? I surely hope not! Mail More!!!! best- MT

Wow! You did get my haiku letter fast. Obviously our postal carriers understand the significance of such work and made haste on both sides of the ocean. I'll let you know when your art arrives. Hope your weekend is a relaxing one...
