Miss K. -- glad to hear that "can mean" arrived at your mail box! :-) I believe it is #45...hence the call number "365.045"...

The other Greek poet I like is C.P. Cavafy. Homer's Odyssey is required reading for most high schoolers here in the U.S., so when my nieces and nephews graduate I send them Cavafy's ITHACA because I haven't found better advise on how to live than that one. Cheers.

Wanted to let you know your project26 H section arrived today--it's great stuff all around: George Seferis, the Greek text, and of course, the Haptic elements. Thanks!

Eeek! Please forgive me if I didn't ever thank you!! I received it ages ago and it's photo is in the received album at my page. Thanks again. Glad you liked the "process" the tiny image is from an artist I quite love named Nikki McClure. She starts with a black piece of paper and cuts the image out with an xacto knife.

Aww!  These were the stamps I used on my wedding invitations way back in '99.  Eleven years later and we're still going strong! Those may be good-omen stamps.

I love that you took a photo of all the "orphaned" postcards! No rush getting them back but I'm very excited to have so many adopted at once. Thank you, Katerina!

I'm not so sure if the problem is volcanic ash.  The news is also carrying many stories of mass fish and bird deaths in such diverse locations on the planet it has to be more than just ash, it could, of course, just be a coincidence.
