Thank you for blogging.  Always fun from David and makes me smile.  I also got a  Patti Bott creation via David.  I was not sure why he sent it to me.  Maybe it was his way of telling me that he found out that Patti and I once dated.  In any case, I'm looking forward to the year of the Rooster!

The body posture is relaxed, and the face is not much tense, so we wonder what Dave is looking at. It's not the TV, is it, or a squirrel out the window chewing on something it shouldn't? You're welcome, Katerina. But I want to make clear that the ox is a Patti Bott creation. Every year for several years now she has made a silkscreen of the Chinese New Year animal. This year I decided I'd try my hand at silkscreen. It did not go well. Precision, careful planning, registration...not my strong suits but I managed to make lemonade from all the lemons. Here's an example:
