Willemien Visser: Mail Art Show in Paris, starring Ryosuke Cohen, but also Ray Johnson

I'm not sure if Willemien intended this to be mail art or not.  In any case it got my attention and I went to see the expo for myself this morning.  Only it didn't open until noon so I had to waste some time on the Champs Elysées people watching.  Don't listen to what people say, it's a great city!

Mail Art or not, I think this is Willemien's way of saying, "Ha Ha I got there first"  It's the thought that counts !

Thank you Willemien for getting there first.

Here are a few photo I took at the expo:

And the real star, Ryosuke Cohen finally behind bullet proof glass.

Hello Dean, active as always (YOU, I mean!).

I wouldn't dare to call this mail ART, indeed. OK for mail-I put your name&address on the "envelope", I wrote you a message and I put the required stamp- but ART????

And you also understood it/me well: "Ha Ha I got there first"!!! BUT not at all! and I would have liked to have gone there with you, but for several reasons, this was not realistic!

Yes it was, but some of Erni's work is better.  I thought of Erni for this one:
