I checked out the pics of your neighborhood - yeah, right where I thought it was. I used to have friends that lived in The Dutch Boy and the Vulcan Foundry on San Leandro St. - a little east of where you are - just past the Oakland Coliseum going north. Looks rather like your place. I sure miss that area.

Hi Linda,
Looking at your address again - I know right where that is. I used to hang out just across the estuary in the warehouse area of Alameda. Very fond memories of that area. Friends of mine still live there. You are close to the Fruitvale area if I recall and some called that area "Jingle Town" a long time ago for some reason. Ever hear of the Shopping Cart races they had at the boat warehouse right near there (Alameda)? They were legendary. Fun too, till it got too popular.

Hi Linda,
Nice to see someone here from the city I was born in. Welcome to IUOMA. I am still nuts about the Raiders (for some bizarre reason)! Anyway hope you enjoy this place - it can be a lot of fun! Cheers, Test
