Just unbelieveable what a glorious package we got from Bill at Olathe Poste! We are on Spring Break this week, so the kids haven't seen this yet, but are they in for a treat-a mail art care package of artistamps in a envelope just covered with fascinating marks of all stripes-so much to show! I cannot wait to hand these out like Halloween candy next Monday. I will pass them out with postcards and encourage mail art round two for some, round one for the last two classes. (Though my son is on a tear and is making cards like mad.) This is all unearthing my childhood philately mania and I am skulking over ebay in the wee hours looking up vintage post office stuff. Anyway-Bill included the kindest most beautiful note in his lovely (and very kid talkin') handwriting. What a thrill! I'll try to get some shots of the kids with their stamps next week-I can't show faces, but that will make it all the more fun to figure out how to say "hi" and "Thank You!"in pictures-I'm sure the kids will have lots of ideas!

On Behalf of all the kids, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Bill!
