Twitter #mailart project - Second wind

There is a 32 person #mailart exchange going on at the moment in which 32 people are sending a piece of mailart to everyone else on a mailing list.
The whole thing is being arranged by Art_news and he's decided to put another one together in July.

That's 30 postcards in a month, starting at the start of July and ending in August.

Hi Ruud

I don't actually run it, but I thought that Twitter was a much more immediate way to engage and saw how quickly Mark appeared to mobilise loads of mailartists to the cause. It's made more exciting as a mailart project for me due to the immediacy of the feedback on our twitter streams, and being able to show that mailart side to the rest of the world and not just a closed community of mailartists I guess. Why not post a comment on the blog and Mark will surely have his own answer

sounds like a very interesting experiment in mail-art. Why using Twitter and not just a Blog or Site? What is the advantage? (I am on Twitter with @iuoma by the way)
