More recently I received a packet of Tie Stories, RCBz's response to a mail art call from Cheryl Penn. As I've come to expect from the man from Saint Clown, they are masterful collages and the stories that accompany them are just as witty. To wit:

Hopefully these are large enough to read. They'll give you an example of RCBz's range. What's Mr. Z is doing here is riffing on a theme, weaving pictures and words together but never in quite the same way. Thank you, RCBz for sharing your virtuoso performance.

Roy does amazing work indeed...he sent a wonderful collection of tailfins chevolets...he made for the Zine in a Box recently.

Burroughs has stolen RCBz's moment of fleeting glory.

Right.

The collection did include animals but it was not limited to them. I was hoping that they might catch fire with Burrough's imagination, thereby lighting the passage for my own leap into the rarified atmosphere of art enablers. Alas, it was not to be though I'm told he did enjoy himself.

Is it time to tell you, once again, how W.S.B. played with my rubber stamp collection? No? Okay.

These are brilliant.  Click to read them.  Very funny.  Now where did I put that Jurassic Park silk tie?

Is this knot mail-art? RCBZ is a thing unto himself.

Just saw somewhere else someone posted a pic of those ties William S. Burroughs made. I guess he fired paint at them or something.

Great humor! Zoomed in and read the fun stories...in the back of the closet!
