Spring, very soon - from Emmy Verschoor

This is not the title Emmy gave to her card but it is how I feel when I look at it. The promise of something good. Maybe I just want to get out of this winter? :-)) Regardless, I think she has a great technique with blotting paper, the result is always very delicate, with soft blending, very beautiful. I'm very happy to finally hold a true Emmy Verschoor, thank you Emmy!

You remember the quote. Here is the complete passage from Gertrude Stein's "Tender Buttons":

A CARAFE, THAT IS A BLIND GLASS.

A kind in glass and a cousin, a spectacle and nothing strange a single hurt color and an arrangement in a system to pointing. All this and not ordinary, not unordered in not resembling. The difference is spreading.

(very well know to sillymen and deconstructionists)

The difference is spreading :-))

You cannot completely delete the facebook account but you can inactivate it. And they do harass you with questions about why you don't want to be a member of the family anymore :-))

Emmy, yes, I was kidding--although I really haven't signed up, mostly because of the time I'd spend on it and also people from the past who might find me when I don't want to be found. :--}

Yes, just removing your account is really possible, or where you just cynical, Nancy?.

I use facebook  for my art and the connections, not private, the only private thing is my birthday and that without a birthyear.

Wow, the similar titles mean the artist's intention came through  r e a l l y  c l e a r l y.

You can be "not on facebook anymore"? I thought it was a lifetime commitment that the police don't let people out of. That's why I never signed up.
