"South of Market" and "Biochemistry International"

Interesting art received in the mail this week -- my first two pieces from IUOMA members. The first, a postcard of an art piece (paint on plastic?) is set out in grid-like fashion, much like the streets in the "South of Market" area of San Francisco (or any other city/street-scape for that matter). The second was simply two stickers and a stamp adhered to an old library book card-stock insert. The artist dripped watercolor (or ink) along the side of the card and also on the envelope in which it was mailed. Interesting. And too, the numerous stamps became part of the envelope art. Thanks so much, Galloway & Amor Fati and Ampersand! I am working on my art responses (well, I'm still in the thinking phase for my response to Galloway's "South of Market.")
