I started this series because I was gifted with a bunch of vintage postcards with many multiples. I love multiples for making series. I'd been cutting shells out of a book and thought they'd be perfect for this. On the reverse is this story: The towns' people gathered annually on the shores of the Suwannee River to watch the Shell Flotilla (or something like that.)

I think I needed to feel like I was in another world, a peaceful time just watching the shells and the clouds, not thinking about what's happening in the world right now.

The shells on these postcards are divine and this series is so wonderful. I can imagine this being another world. I especially like when the shells are  interacting with each other.
