I started this series because I was gifted with a bunch of vintage postcards with many multiples. I love multiples for making series. I'd been cutting shells out of a book and thought they'd be perfect for this. Received a hand inked addition to a vintage style postcard for Italian MA Nicholas Antoine. Lovely paper and ink work - but no regular mail addy - I'm always surprised when artists will contribute such beautiful work and not allow reciprocation. I emailed him and requested a regular post address and sent him a digital piece of my own art - yet I feel it lacks the permanence and beauty…

I put an ad in Node Pajomo asking for people to send me postcards upon which they have made a black and white pattern, preferably a complex one. So far, I have not had many responses and I realized I should post about it here, also. For the time being, there are only two results from this project (I add to/change/or re-envision the images sent to me and send them back to the one who sent me the postcard in the first place).
