Received from Katerina Nikoltsou, Greece--Haptic Buffalo and Roaming Mail Art

Okay, I knew this envelope of goodies was coming my way, but I really did wonder when, and then, while I was out shoveling snow just now, my 84-year-old neighbor brought Katerina's mail art over to me. Not only did she have my mail art for nearly two weeks, but she had already opened it, stating that her curiosity was irresistible. It had some "dust and crumbs" in it which she took upon herself to get rid of for me, which I can only assume was the Greek sage Katerina had included. Fret not, Katerina, I can still smell it.

I can't say I blame my neighbor for harboring Katerina's vibrant work. After all, of what value is a neighbor who cannot appreciate mail art? Does make me wonder though if she has any other mail art addressed to me. Maybe I should ask her about Cheryl's World is a Town section I never received...

I'd be pissed if my neighbor opened my mail art! It's my favorite part of the day. But those buffalo make me giggle every time I see them. In my brain the make a rumble rumble noise and kick up dust as they run across the envelope.

The story of the neighbor was hilarious! :-)) it would never happen here, I don't even know my neighbor's faces.
Love the haptic buffalo to match your icon!

I see that the Greek postal sorting room tagged on another 50cents, hmmm, and smack over the other two stamps so as not to cover up the rubber stamp (how nice!). Well, Bifidus, we'll just have to send you two mail art pieces at once...one for you, and one for your sweet 84-year-old neighbor! She will get cinnamon in her envelope :-)
