Nuit Blanche Toronto- The Life Long Burning Question Project

Last weekend, I participated in The Life Long Burning Question Project in Toronto as part of Nuit Blanche. It was a mail project run by the Toronto School of Art. The idea was to send out as many postcards randomly to as many people as possible and they would  return  them with their Life Long Burning Question. The postcards were then hung up in a gallery space which allowed the public to read the questions and answer them. The postcards would then be sent back to the participants after Nuit Blanche answered. I thought I would post some photos from this event as I know I sent postcards out to some of you (I wish I could have sent out more, but I ran out of time and postcards.).

A writer friend of mine wrote her take on this years Nuit Blanche; she mentioned the LLBQ project in it. Anyway, here is the link if you are interested in reading it:

I wish I could take credit for it, but I can't. It was the brainchild of Stephanie Cormier and Camille Turner. I was just helping out that night (as one of the "postal workers") and I helped send out some of the postcards. I loved the set up of it as the postcards were attached by wooden clothes pegs which the visitors could easily take the cards off, answer them and put the back when finished. It was a great evening and I'm glad I could share it with you.

A good way to exhibit the postcards so that they may be seen on both sides. Thanks for showing us Louise!
