I made this concertina book with signatures in Cheryl Penn's bookmaking workshop last year and decided to use it to store mail art that I have received from Karin Greenwood and Elize Rowan, 2  of my South African friends. As in my last mail art book that I made to store Cheryl's mail (see my photos of An Extraordinary Correspondence with Cheryl Penn) I used old drawings of mine cut up as the "pockets" to hold the work. As I dont sew or have a machine I stapled the pockets on....

This is the cover, a lino print of my Fishtrich on an image of Picasso's studio, which is from another collaborative book that I did with Cheryl Penn in 2009.

This is the book standing up

These are the pages showing the stapled pockets

Thanks for uploading, Lesley, I think I am going to make something very similar, it looks great!

The accordion bound book is an EXCELLENT mail art storage system Les - it expands whole heartedly without an unhappy spine!! I am using a similar system for your work :-) Well done.
