More Trashpo -- from the Heap to "Deep"

I have been reveling in the most wonderful stuff from Nadine Wendell. Most recently she sent me a piece of Trashpo that I just LOVED!  Simply a piece of corrugated cardboard that has been altered with the most diverse of materials: print illustrations, ad cards, rafia wrapping, a safe sex brochure, paint, rubber stamping, Nadine's personal doodle-drawings, and a [found?] junior prom picture that Nadine craftily attached so that I could lift it up and see on the reverse what the young lady in the portrait had written to another of her girlfriends. Umm... HILARIOUS! Not to mock any of the "yutes" and their romanticized high school cinderella balls... but rather we might muse: "Ah... youth!" ...and let it go at that! Nadine hails from down in the corner of the card: "Hello from LA *** Trash Capitol of the World!" The place must indeed be rife with the medium, Nadine, for you to have so eloquently created a masterpiece of the genre like this! POETRY indeed!
