Ghost Stories to Read during Rain Storms -- from Theresa Williams

Another "Trashpo" book--self defined by the artists--though I would have been loath to define it that way myself. Theresa Williams's handmade Trashpo rubber stamp has found it's place inside on a few pages, though that has to be the biggest clue!  Maybe a melding of genres... The book itself is a handsome collection of art papers and perfectly chosen found/torn black and white illustrations.. the whole thing bound with gold chord.  Theresa has been working hard on the New Tombstone Group and getting everyone livened-up for the spooktacular holiday that's fast approaching at the end of the month... Thus, here I was the lucky recipient of one of Theresa's [previously published] Ghost Stories for which the artbook serves as a vehicle.  A few favorite sample pages:

I took this little book with me last weekend to the Olympic Peninsula--where I had hoped to do some fall hiking.  But the rains have come early this year and I was rather stuck in the cabin all weekend as the sheets of water came thrashing down. PERFECT weather to be reading ghost stories, however! Thank you, Theresa!

I have recently joined Theresa's group and members can expect to receive from me some literary mail art appropriate to the season and the theme.  Halloween is actually how I would say that I became involved in mail art-- for years [decades even!] I have sent out a Halloween poem as my annual holiday greeting to friends and relatives rather than a Winter seasonal or Christmas card.  This is mostly because by the time the winter holiday came around I was much too busy to think about sending greetings out, but if I planned something for the Samhain holiday, I seemed to have enough time to gather my artistic wits together and accomplish the larger mailing.  Now I hear about it from family if I am late or someone's envelope gets lost in the mail!!

Another great work Theresa! I like the bottom pic of the lace (is it lace?) with the outline of either a woman's side view face, or a male figure with the moon above.
