Marked: Life at Penn Planet A Serial Saga from Dean Marks

If you know people in high places, they can get you your own planet.  At least I think that’s how I got mine.  Or it could have been involuntary expulsion from earth because of a game considered too dangerous for 3 year olds.

What I think is dangerous?  WHAT higher postal powers are accountable to Dean which allowed this piece to make it through the post… Its quite unearthly.  Most postcards I receive have bite marks – not dean marks. Did Erni, The Valentine, Marie or The Inseine Guy have anything to do with the fate of The Eye?

Life on Planet Penn involves  blue mountains, distance and high skies. One can even go Mona Spotting.  No high heels – its rocky terrain and your heals will get Marks.

You can also see Crack Pots.  If you’re in the mood, you can also be upside down.  I can see why I was given this planet.  It suits me well :-)

Heres the map.  When you leave the docking station, comely called a Sofa, head right on your big screen tv. Go past Red Banana Planet.  Its about an hour at the speed of light past there.  Just shout, and I’ll come welcome you – ANY time! Don't bring too many relations - I'm better one on one :-) XX

Dean, any disguise is fruitless. Moonlighting?

Actually the picture of Mona Lisa is from an ad for a stand-up comedy act that was playing in Puerto de la Cruz.  It is a man in a frame dressed up as Mona Lisa.   DOES THIS RING ANY BELLS ?

Great idea I thought, so if you ever come to Paris and visit the Louvre between noon and 17:00.  I am the guy outside on the left of the enterance standing on a soap box dressed like this.  Please put a few coins in my dish.

I know, the shoe thing... I took them with, but only wear them indoors.  There are floor to ceiling cupboards with doors of glass here on Planet Penn, designed for such beauties.  No tottering allowed outdoors :-))!.  Val - whats with the weak tea? Dean, next time, don't leave my mail to chance! What happens if a passerby gained knowledge of the planet and invaded and caused the extinction  Mona's - and stole my shoes for that matter????

Very funny twin piece, and very funny blog. But... the NO SHOE sign, hmmmm, that won't work on a planet Penn I think :-))

Thanks Cheryl! I get up at 05.30 so towards 11.00 a mug of weak Darjeeling tea -- no milk, sugar or lemon -- would be nice, plus a chocolate digestive biscuit or three wulddo wonders to keep me going until I have my siesta. I wonder who has been to the Canary islands recently?

This is amazing indeed.  Someone in the Canary Island is kind.  Then again, what would they do with a Planet Penn Mail art card.  I didn't actally mail this one.  I just left it hanging out of the mail box for all to see.  One never knows if the owner of a gallery passes by and spots it and thinks it is art ... well sellable.
